Montblanc premium accessories arrive for Samsung Galaxy Note 4
Samsung has partnered with Montblanc in creating a new premium line of writing instruments and leather covers for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The South Korean tech giant have introduced Swarovski editions of the Gear S and Note 4 previously, and the Montblanc collection further extends the company’s ever growing catalogue of luxury accessories for its flagship phablet.
Established in 1906 and best known for its tradition and craftsmanship in the writing instrument industry, Montblanc’s new e-StarWalker stylus will be accompanied by exclusive digital content and writing features. It can also be swapped between an actual pen and a stylus, by simply changing the cartridge where one is used for actual writing on paper, and the other used as the S pen.
The new Extreme leather cover is touted to be made of “high-performance leather” which can provide “unique abrasion resistance, water and heat repellence and more”, according to International Business Times. The cover comes encapsulated with a digital ID chip which when connected to the handset, can automatically provide users access to digital Montblanc content such as ink-inspired 3D unlock effect, special edition Montblanc S Note and five different screenwriter nibs with cool handwriting effects.
As expected, none of these accessories will come cheap, with the Extreme cover costing you £160 whilst the stylus pieces will start from £235 for the basic Pix model and exceed £700 for the StarWalker Ultimate Carbon.
