The app was already capable of beautifying lines and blemishes, performing automatic contours, balancing skin tones and complexion, eliminating dark circles under the eyes and removing red eyes by utilising CyberLink’s proprietary beautifying technology. The new feature means that it is now also able to enhance and adjust body shapes and proportions. It sounds like the end result could look like someone else completely!

YouCam Perfect was first launched in March and the company boasts that it has gathered over 7 million downloads already, ranking consistently as the number one most popular camera app in many regions.

“Our team is continuously seeking to provide users with unique app features that they’re asking for and cannot find elsewhere,” said Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink. “YouCam Perfect was created to help people boost the natural beauty of their selfies and increase their self-confidence. By adding Taller, we are providing a unique tool that will help people show a healthy look from head to toe and feel more confident in their pictures.”

The new Taller feature was previously only available on the company’s advanced photo editing software and mobile apps. It incorporates advanced tools to help users improve those full body selfies with the tap of a button, and allows them to retouch their body profile to achieve the shape they desire.

The app is available on the App Store and Google Play and can be downloaded for free. Have a play with it and see just how much taller and beautiful you can make yourself look!
