Colette displays Apple Watch at Paris Fashion Week
The Apple Watch is making its first public appearance at the flagship store of Colette, an upscale ultra-hip fashion boutique, situated on Tue Saint-Honoré Street in Paris, reports 9to5Mac.
The store has partnered with Apple for this special “one-day only experience” during Paris Fashion Week to preview the wearable. However, the event is said to be a strictly look-but-don’t-touch affair, according to Engadget, and there’s no promise that Colette will actually be selling the device either. So far, only the press have had a glimpsed at the Apple Watch and were not able to try out any functions since it was only running a demo program.
The news came as several Instagram and Twitter users captured photos of the Apple Watch from the Colette store last night, which according to Instagram user run label, who appears to live across the street, was hidden for most of the day. The three floor concept store houses an exhibition space, a bookshop, and an obscure “water bar” which serves over 100 brands of bottled water.
If you just happen to be out and about in Paris today, the store opens at 11 AM, so feel free to join the expected crowds that will be battling to be one of the first to take a peep at the wearable. You will also be able to take a look through the extravagant window display if you care for your own personal space.
